Permanent make-up

Don’t trust your face to just anyone!

Permanently Beautiful’s Lorette Hague has been working solely with permanent cosmetics, on men and women of all ages since 2002.   This is not something she does as a ‘sideline’ – it’s what she does, every working day.

As one the top artists in the UK, Lorette undertakes continuous improvement and training so her clients can benefit from the very latest techniques.

What is permanent make up?

Permanent make up, also known as semi-permanent make up, permanent cosmetics, facial tattooing or micro pigmentation, is the definitive beauty enhancement.  Hypo allergenic pigments are infused into the dermal layer of the skin to achieve a shadow of colour that mimics perfectly applied, up to date make up, or a discreet enhancement.

Great for your lips, brows or eyes.  Your permanent make up is designed to suit your individual look and can be worn alone or with additional make up.

How long does it last?

Permanent cosmetics will gradually fade over a 12/18 month-2 year period, depending on the colours chosen and area treated.  For this reason we recommend retouches every 12-18 months to keep the look fresh and is purely maintenance of your cosmetics.  Only the highest quality hypo-allergenic pigments are used, giving the most desirable of long lasting results.

How is permanent make up applied?

Permanently Beautiful’s permanent cosmetic enhancements start with a consultation to assess colouring, what you desire and your face shape.  Lorette uses all her experience and expertise to ensure that just the right look for you is chosen.

Using conventional cosmetics the shape she is working towards is created, so that you can approve the design before any permanent make up is applied.  This way, you can be sure that it complements your features perfectly.  The infusion process itself takes about an hour and uses state of the art computerised equipment that complies with stringent health and safety regulations.
