Our lead laser clinician is Kerry Anne Coleman who has a wealth of knowledge in laser treatments gained from training courses and experiance.

The Brookdale Clinic uses the award winning Lumina Laser system from Lynton Lasers - 2008 winners of the Aesthetic Medicine Awards for Best Cosmetic Equipment.

The equipment combines Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and a long pulse Nd:Yag 1064 laser.

Intense pulsed light is a broad spectrum light source similar to a very strong flashlamp.  By using different hand pieces we are able to use different parts of the light spectrum to do different jobs.

It can be used for hair removal, combined facial therapy, anti-ageing treatments, vascular problems eg rosacea, spider veins on face and legs and unsightly red blotches

caused by clusters of small blood vessels  and for lightening brown unsightly age/sun spots [pigmented areas].

The Nd:Yag is a true laser, being of a single wavelength. It is useful for thicker thread veins, hair removal on darker skin types and anti-ageing treatments.

The Zimmer chilling system is available for clients to use if they wish and helps reduce any mild discomfort that may occur during laser or IPL treatments.
