Clinical Psychology
Dr Ruth Hodson and Dr Louise Rodaway are Chartered Clinical Psychologists. Clinical Psychology is the application of evidence-based assessment, formulation and intervention techniques to alleviate mental health difficulties. With several years experience working as psychologists in the NHS, Ruth and Louise have extensive knowledge of the ways psychological interventions can be used to alleviate difficulties, across the lifespan.
Research has shown that the therapeutic approaches used by Ruth and Louise are an effective method of lowering distress associated with common mental health problems.
Therapeutic work is informed by various models including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Systemic theory, Cognitive-Analytic formulation and Behavioural Therapy.
Stress Management [CBT based treatment]
Jane has extensive experience as a Primary Care Mental Health worker. This work
involved face-to-face and telephone assessments with clients with common mental
health problems, such as anxiety and depression, collaborative work with practice
teams, supporting GPs and practice staff providing appropriate advice.
Jane specialises in working on a one-to-one basis using a Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy approach with clients with all types of depression and anxiety including
complex problems such as post-traumatic stress and health anxiety. Jane is very
interested in furthering her current experience towards occupational health speciality
and work closely with people with emotional difficulties in order to help them gain
confidence to return to work. Jane is also involved with innovative product
development at one of the leading rehabilitation providers, Argent Rehabilitation.
Currently completing the NIDMAR qualification, National Institute of Disability Management and Research. The NIDMAR education program covers the key skills and competencies essential for those working in the field of Disability Management and Return to Work Coordination. The field of Vocational Rehabilitation, including Disability Management, is quickly evolving into a profession. Jane is interested in providing corporate training to employers on return to work programmes for employees absent with mental health conditions.

Clinical psychology cost £110.00 per hour session.

Stress management with Jane Eastwood £50.00 assessment and £40.00 follow up sessions. Group sessions available at a lower rate per person.
